The Sharp e-Signage S Player application for displaying content comes pre-installed on the Android SoC. Image or video content can be uploaded to the player via a USB memory stick and displayed in a variety of frame layouts and formats.
The integrated SOC also features an HTML5 internet browser for easy web-based signage applications streaming content over the network. Wireless networking with the PN-M501 is possible with the optional USB Wireless adapter PN-ZW01.
