DS-2600

The Olympus DS-2600 is the latest offering for entry level dictation from Olympus. This new device maintains the core principles of the previous the DS-2500 – offering users a basic software package alongside a high quality recording device. However the new DS-2600 now offers Slide Switch Control functionality. Slide Control operation allows users to dictate in a familiar analogue style using a single wear-free slide control. This feature has previously been exclusive to top-end dictation machines alongside other features such as Encryption and Automated Email Sending.

The included 3 button USB foot pedal allows the user to control the DSS Player Standard software with his foot to have the hands free for fast typewriting. The lightweight (28g) E‚Äë102 stereo under‚Äëthe‚Äëchin head phone is comfortable to wear even over hours and does not harm the user’s haircut. The simple graphical user interface allows a quick start into the audio transcription world of professionals. Several audio codecs established in professional dictation are supported.
